PUBLIC NOTICE

In exercise of power conferred on it by section 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and all the other powers enabling in this behalf, the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission proposes to make the 1st amendment to the Regulation No. HERC/12/2005 dated 26.07.2005 (Duty to supply electricity on request, Power to recover expenditure incurred in providing supply & Power to require security) Regulation, 2005.

The amendment is to be carried out to the clause 5.7 (Interest on Consumption Security and Meter Security) under Part-IV of the aforesaid regulations. The draft amended regulation has been placed on the Commission’s website (click here to download). Interested persons/organizations may send their Comments/ objections/suggestions to The Secretary, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, Bays No. 33-36, Sector-4, Panchkula, Haryana by 30.07.2009.The public hearing on the above amended draft regulation would be held on 12.8.2009 at 11:30 A.M. in the Conference Hall of the Commission.
