PUBLIC NOTICE

INVITING OBJECTIONS / SUGGESTIONS ON THE REVISED APPLICATIONS FILED BY UHBVNL AND DHBVNL FOR APPROVAL OF ANNUAL REVENUE REPORTS AND TARIFF FOR FY 2009-10

Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (the Distribution and Retail Supply licensees in Haryana) have filed their revised application for determination of tariff and Annual Revenue Reports (ARR) for the financial year 2009-10.

Complete set of respective filings are available for public consultation during office hours on any working day at the Head Quarters of UHBVNL at Shakti Bhawan, Sector – 6, Panchkula and DHBVNL at Vidyut Nagar, Hisar and also at the offices of SE/Operations of UHBVNL / DHBVNL.

A complete set of each of these documents may be obtained on payment of Rs.1000/-, copy of the main ARR without Annexure at Rs. 300/- and copy of the condensed summary at Rs.50/- in cash or through demand draft, from the aforesaid offices. The condensed summary is also available on the web site of the Haryana Power Utilities i.e. www.uhbvn.com and www.dhbvn.com.

Written objections/ suggestions/ comments are invited from the public and other organisations on the above filings. All interested parties should submit four copies of their objections along with supporting material, if any, to the Secretary, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, Bays No. 33-36, Sector 4, Panchkula - 1341112 and one copy should be directly submitted to the Managing Director of respective licensee at UHBVNL, Shakti Bhawan, Sector – 6, Panchkula or DHBVNL, Vidyut Nagar, Hisar. All comments should be sent by messenger or through registered post so as to reach before 5 P.M. of 12th August, 2009.

The objections should carry full name and postal address of the person sending the objection and shall be supported by an affidavit as per the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2004.

PUBLIC NOTICE

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and all other powers enabling in this behalf, the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission proposes to amend regulation 16 of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (Licensing of trading, Eligibility Criteria for Grant of Trading Licence, the Duties and the Terms and Conditions of Trading Licence) Regulations, 2005, and regulation 16 of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (Transmission and distribution Licensing) Regulations, 2004.

The draft amendments of both these regulations are available in the office of the Commission at the above mentioned address and also on the Commission’s website (click here to download).

Interested persons / consumer organisations / stake holders may send their objections / views / suggestions, if any, to the Secretary, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, bays No. 33-36, Sector – 4, Panchkula by 7th August, 2009.
